matched adoption (from foster care)

We are foster parents. We are adopting our very first placement. It's been an unusually easy case and we are very thankful for that. However, our second foster baby went aback home after 8 months and I have had a harder time coping with that than I expected. So yesterday we went on the matches adoption list for kids who have already been TPR'd. We are still on the foster call list too though. If you have had a successful matched adoption can you tell me about it? How long did you wait? What was the hardest part of it? Ect? We are open to one child 0-4 any race any gender.
