San Bern. adoption time table question

Question for those that have adopted a San Bernardino child. What was the process like to get to finalization? I am talking about after the TPR and appeal wait time and passed the 6 month of having the child as a fc in the home. We are anxiously awaiting to finalize on our little one but not sure what type of time table we are looking at besides some time this year it will go final. Wanting to do the "FINALIZED" post!!! Everything has gone smoothly so far and just so afraid of something going wrong.

I am only in the process now, so I can only tell you what the adoption worker told us. She told us to expect it would be about one year from the date of the .26 hearing, including appeals, etc.

Thanks. TPR happened just a few days after placement, no appeals! We are just waiting now. Had hoped to finalize after the 6 months in home time frame but still no word from the AW. Waiting is not my strong suit. :love:

So glad you are on your way, we have been waiting for the TPR hearing which was scheduled for January, then it was continued for April, which was next continued for June which was next continued for October, life is teaching me patience for which I had none.. It is very frustrating to have continuances for small little stuff that could and should have been avoided but all we have now is time in our hand and to wait as long as we have to.
