Searching for brothers dob 10/9/82 & 10/8/83

I am searching for my older brothers. Birth names were Donald Earl Crenshaw Jr dob: 10/9/82 and Steven Wayne Crenshaw dob 10/8/83. Birth parents were Donald and Peggy Crenshaw. They were born in Lawrence Ks. They were taken away in Oct 1983 but I believe they were not adopted until Sept 1984. They were adopted by the same family. I believe it was Judge Shephard that handled the adoption. I have been searching for awhile but keep coming up with nothing. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
