I recently found out that my mother has been in contact with the two boys that I gave up for adoption 14 years ago. She has talked to them and has even had my other 2 children who live with her and my father talk to them as well...I am not sure if I am 100% ok with this or not. I do want to have contact just not sure if now is the right time. I was also adopted and my reunion with birth mom did not go well at all. I need some advice! I don't know what to do!!!

Are you worried that it is not the right time for you or for them? Maybe start very slowly and exchange pictures and letters and go from there. Are the parents of the two boys OK with you having contact {are they underage?}. If so maybe make sure theat they are on board as well or it may not go well for all. If you are not in a good place in your life to have contact I think that even letting them know that you love them and are thinking of them will mean alot to the boys. sm
