Hi,
We're adopting and we've noticed a lot of religion based blogs, agencies and support. We completely respect (and even appreciate) when we are offered prayers/thoughts.
I am curious, however, if anyone else is completely non-religious?
I am completely non-religious and am raising my children without religion, although we are open minded and accepting of other people's faith/beliefs, no matter what the beliefs are. And I actually completed most of my adoptions through a Lutheran agency, but was upfront the whole time, and it never was an issue. The older kids know that there are people in our family/friend circle who attend church and they are welcome to go with them if they desire.

Hey! Thanks for responding. It's fantastic that you were able to go through a religious agency without issue. Congratulations on the family!
We're also not religious and plan to raise our child outside of any faith. We're matched currently. Our matched expectant parents agree with our views and saw them as an asset.
Hey I am indifferent with religion but I hope there always be strong morals for whoever will take my daughter home as an adoptive parent.
