Does your county help?

I was wondering how your county would support you...... We have 4 foster and 1 adopted. 4 of the kids have special needs. The one with a brain injury has many appointments, just this week we went to two appointments, one 1 hr away, the other 1 1/2 hr away, there is nothing closer to us. I had to take all the kids out of school to attend the appt. ?--does your county help so you do not have to take all the kids out of school? It is also distracting for the dr. with so many others around. Just wondering.......... TIA
