Taking Gaurdianship Over Foster Son!

My Cw has asked u if we might be interested in Taking gaurdianship over a FS, I am unsure about how that all works, would it be benificial or should we just let him stay as a foster? What changes if we do decide to do guardianship?

The birth parents can go to court at any time and try and take him back... you have all these rules to follow basically a glorified baby sitter..

Plus, no adoption or foster subsidy to help with the cost of raising him, and in many areas no medicaid (you'd have to put him on your private insurance). No CPS backup when the bios come try to fight to get him back, etc. I wouldn't do it if it were me!
