Hi all, I've started gathering my thoughts (and hundreds of pages worth of notes), so that I can share our sometimes harrowing adventure when adopting our first boy in Russia in 2001-2003. We experienced some latent anti-semitism there, but we also got to meet a long-lost cousin - I was the first member of the family to return to Russia since the revolution. The adventure was often difficult and sometimes downright absurd, but it was worth it in the end.
