I need a little advice from those who have put together photos and got chosen. How did you decide which photos to use or not to use? We can only have a limited amount - however many will fit on to two 2-sided 8 1/2 x 11 pages. Without being overcrowded of course, and room for captions. It won't go online, but rather into page protectors and given to the agency to show birthparents. I'm planning on putting the pages together on the computer and contemplating typing the captions directly on to the photos to save space? We were given info on which pictures to choose/not to choose from the agency, but not a lot of details. I'd really like to know what pictures you chose/didn't choose, why, and if the birthparents you were matched with mentioned any of the pictures sticking out to them.

We threw in a picture of our three dogs in a magical moment when they lined themselves up on the staircase so you could see all three clearly. I would have thought pets shouldn't have a picture all to themselves when space is so limited, but our agency liked it and it definitely drew that emom to us.
Good luck! We were actually scrambling to find enough pictures that weren't the same sort of thing over and over again.

I did a variety; a couple of just me (or me and my dog), a section of friends (with and without me), section of family, and some of my home (including a shot of baby lambs on my mom's farm). My album was 12x12, and 4 pics per page was about the maximum without it getting too crowded (though I did crop some of them, so there may have been one page with 5).
