I see this board isn't very active, but if there are any NC folks that have info about specific agencies, I'd love for you to message me. I'm in Eastern Carolina, about an hour out of Raleigh. For public posting, I'd love for you to share your adoption story. I'm just starting out and have much to learn.

I'm pursuing adoption from foster care and using my local DSS. I am in Rutherford county (rural Western NC). I've already submitted the initial application and documents, but now I'm waiting for them to start the next MAPP class. The last they told me was they are planning one for February, but no official start date yet.
