Is Lakeland FL anywhere near Tampa FL? Baby Girl (Cathy Reynolds mother) was born in city outside of Tampa FL but Catholic Social Services combined adoption files in Tampa decades ago. So I have had not found my birth daughter.
Your explanation of adoption may explain why I see no postings from Cathy (Kathy?) Reynolds of Michigan searching for you. Also CSS in the 70s likely to have made records closed.
