In Ohio, they are ultimately under the state Department of Job and Family Services. You might see if there is a similar set up where you are.

Kansas and I will even though out DCF worker retired and they never told us who the new one is. Lovely isn't it?
Sadly, you may find there's no one they have to account to. In my state, it ultimately comes BACK to the same people who're involved with the same department! It's insane to say the least.
You may have more success talking with a state rep or senator. In my state, those who talk with these folks seem to have quicker results.
Good luck, and please keep us posted about this.
Sincerely,
Linny
I am looking into complaining to the agency and DCF but the lawyer today wrote a letter to the worker and I plan on forwarding that to DCF and her supervisor.
In Mass, we have an Office of the Child Advocate who serves as a bit of a watchdog and takes complaints relating to DCF. Maybe you have something similar?

They (Social Services) hate it when you call state representatives. There is more punch during an election year though. Still, they will followup. I have a good friend who works for a state agency . . .
