Hello everyone. I live in Florida. I just signed up for the Adoption 101 classes starting April 9th in Polk County. I was hoping for some helpful information and advice.
I am looking to adopt 1 child. What is the right and wrong things to do and say when in the classes. I have to take things slowly. Meaning I have to wait until January to really dive in. I currently have a roommate, but I own my home and they won't be living with me.
Thank you for helping any info and advice wanted!!!
Marcy
As a non-FP, I don't have a real clue about the right/wrong things to say, but welcome to the forum! :)

Hi Marcy, I'm in Pinellas County-not far from you. Welcome! I don't know anything about "Adoption 101" since I am foster only but I wish you the best of luck!
Hi Marcy.
I am in Martin County and am just starting the process as well. I start my classes in two weeks. If you learn anything good let me know. :)
I'm in St. Lucie County. There really are no right or wrongs for the class. Just be yourself ;)
