She's leaving tomorrow...

Our short term placement who we were so conflicted about wanting to keep long term will be going to her new foster home tomorrow...her brother is being discharged in the morning. I felt a great sense of peace once the decision was made...I wish she could stay here but I knew they'd find a place for them to stay together. It'll be our first time having a child leave, and it'll be weird packing up the things we had just for her (high chair, baby gate, etc.) Hoping she does well in her new home!
