Becoming a foster parent

[INDENT][/INDENT]This summer my brothers were placed into foster care again after being abused by their adopted parents. Fortunately I was able to have them come live with me and my fiance and I started the process of becoming foster parents. We go to the point where we just needed to take the kinship classes but their case changed. The state made a deal with the parents involving them giving me custody of the boys and not involve the state. [INDENT][/INDENT]I'm a former foster kid myself and started the website [URL="http://www.imafoster.com"]ImAFoster.com[/URL] for foster kids and parents. I was doing a series on becoming a foster parent so those that are interested in doing so can learn a little about the process. Since I didn't take the classes I was looking for someone to write a post to use on my site about what their experience of foster care classes was like.
