Hi all, My husband and I are looking to adopt, and we live in PA. I am trying to understand a couple of things, and I was hoping someone could help. I will also be posting on the PA boards. Q1 - If I live in PA, can I adopt from a different state? Q2 - If I can adopt from another state, how do the laws work? Does the agency I go through have to be licensed in both states for it to work?
