contacting SW to much?

How often is to often to contact our social worker? Our HS has been completed and our SW said it should have been written up by Jan 16th. Well as of 2 weeks ago she was still working on it. She said in the last email that she would let me know when she sent it in. I understand things take time but is it too soon to check in with her? I am using Bethany.
