I am searching for my birth parents.
I was born in Orange County, North Carolina October 17, 1964.
There is a good possibility I was born at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, which is in NC.
My non-identifying info: my birth mother was single, 21 at the time of my birth. She was the youngest of 5 children. She had fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. She was a swimsuit model and worked as a clerk in a bank. She had a small child of her own at the time of my birth.
My birth mother and father were not married to each other. My birth father was 29 at the time of my birth. He had 3 brothers and was of Jewish descent. His parents were in the restaurant business. He was a college grad and was in the Air Force. He worked in construction. He had olive skin, blue eyes and dark hair. He was married and had a small child, a son.
The closest I have come is a posting from an adoption website where a birth mother listed her search for her daughter born 10/17/1964 at a hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. The post lists the name of the mother as Beth Ann Connor and the Father as Robert Hyman.
Thank you.

Hi:I did a search for you. Chapel Hill is in Orange County and I looked for births on the date you gave. There were absolutely no births reported in that county on that day. There should be a replacement birth certificate showing your adoptive parents instead of the biological parents. I'm sure you have a birth certificate of your own somewhere. What county does it say you were born in?If you are a male you might want to consider getting your Y-DNA tested because this will reveal your surname. Whether you are male or female you can have your autosomal DNA tested to show family relationships that you can compare and match against several databases that are available through various genealogy sites. Each test only costs $99.You can learn more about genetic genealogy and adoption research by googling for an easy to understand article using "DNA Testing for Genealogy - Getting Started, Part One"If you are very determined, wish to take a strong and active role and have any questions then please let me know.Regards, Terri England Adoption Angel

Hi Terri,I do have a replacement birth certificate... is says I was born in Wake County, NC, which is where my adopted parents are from. My non-identifying birth information states that I was born in Orange County. I am very determined to find my birth parents. The one post that I found was a Beth Ann Connor (birth mom) searching for her daughter, born 10/17/1964 in Chapel Hill, NC. It lists the father as Robert Hyman. My non id info states that my birth father was jewish. I am just stuck in my search.Thank you,Jan
