I am having problems with this new format. Previously there were options on the top of each page where you could choose adult adoptee or birth parents etc. They are not there anymore. Also I was rereading a thread that helped me a lot in the past but I could not read the whole thing. I know there are more pages but I can't find them. There use to be a choice on the bottom of the page to go to the next. My last problem is there is no option for previous post or next post.
I'm sure all these options are there but I am not finding them. Can anyone explain it to this technologically challenged person? I read the forum on my iPad. Thank you!
The new format is truly awful and not iPad friendly at all. I am so puzzled by the new owners efforts to "improve" the site resulting in such an substandard outcome. This site is filled with spam that goes unedited, there is no longer any way (at least that I can find) to search all posts by user, no way to see who is viewing certain pages and that darn red banner gets in the way of easy viewing. Moving to multiple pages on a thread is virtually impossible.
I've been participating on these forums for over a decade. I've learned so much over the years and built friendships across triad lines. It saddens me greatly that that era has come to an end. Given the nature of the subject matter here and the ability to sort out feelings and issues in an anonymous forum has been priceless; other forms of social media will never replace the community that the new owners have decimated.
I expect this post, like so many others from other users will go unanswered as moderators have seemingly disappeared and admin seems focused on pushing badly written and uninformed blog postings. What a shame that such a valuable forum has come to an end.

Thank you Paigeturner for your response. I have been reading this forum for about a year now. Finally posted something a few months ago and the support that I received was amazing. I have learned so much about reunion from quite a number of people. I'm hoping this issue with the new format is temporary. Maybe they're still working on it and will be introducing things in an ongoing fashion? In the meantime are there any other forums that would help me figure out this thing called reunion? I don't know anyone else going thru this and would love any help I can get.
I just wrote a post and hit cancel rather than submit, apparently I can't read or comprehend or the buttons seem in strange places.
The font is nearly impossible to read. Why does it have to be in italics in the post a reply box.
Once I figured out how to get to the forums, not so bad for navigating those. It is terrible on a tablet or phone though.
The beauty of all the spam being left up that for those adult adoptees unable to get a passport because of altered birth certificates...you now know where to go for a fake!
I must be a total idiot. I can't for the life of me figure out how to navigate this mess. I do appreciate being able to read never before accessible forums where we can see what TPTB really thought of some of us. That's some interesting bedtime reading. Oops - some people should be blushing. This definitely wasn't ready for prime time.
BTW, not sure how but I got a "pregnant? Consider your options" tweet in my twitter feed from A.com (who I do NOT follow, BTW). I reported it to twitter as objectionable content. Sorry folks, that ship sailed a long while ago, but even if it hadn't, you've already received a pound of my soul (or 6 lbs, 12 oz to be more accurate). Please, please, please, give us back the old site. It was 1,000 times better even with the log in crap and double postings.

Google first mothers forum. There's some great articles and advice there from those that have btdt.

It will be a shame if you all leave. Agree with all comments regarding new format. I've been away for most of the year, I come back, and "all the furniture's been rearranged!".
I'm not a BMom, but I've received a lot of comfort and wisdom from this community (mostly from BMoms). Not thrilled by the prospect of the forums losing their pillars of strength.
That twitter comment deserves to be in the Webster's dictionary, right next to the word "insensitive".
