Being a part of the adoption community is unique and special. There are so many great things that come from adoption. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the many aspects of adoption. Hurtful comments and mean things happen because not everyone understands. I like this article because it gave some useful tips on how to respond to these hurtful comments that are bound to come up. I was reading this and looking for the article you're talking about...then looked at the date and wondered if maybe it was my article...THEN realized it was you, Crystal! Anyways, we are constantly battling the comments and questions and hurtful statements.
