Hi Amanda! why dont you try and hire a CI (confidential intermediary) ? you can get the link off this website for the state's webpage for CI info and what CI's are available. They are a great way to go. I am using one right now, and shes got all the info on my birthmom including where she lives and works, who every member of the fam is and everything! we are trying to get a phone number though.(she thinks mabye she uses a cell for a home phone, thats why she cant find it) but the next thing that will happen is she'll send a letter. I dont know if you are familiar with this program or not, but bmom's can use it too! and from personal experience totally recommend using it! private message me if you have any more questions ok?
Hi did you go to any search groups? Did you read any books about adoption issues?
