I have noticed at different times that they will all show a preference for one parent over another depending on their stage of maturing. Please don't worry, just keep loving your child and encourage your husband to do much of the caregiving when he is home from work. (that can give you a much needed break too!) My son has been with us for three months and also went thought the same situation your child is going thought. For about the first month I couldn't leave his sight without him crying for me. He does go to pre-school but I am his teacher so he was/is with me 24/7. This was very hard on my husband and daughter (his biological sibling). He got along great with them on visits and even favored Daddy then. However he is adjusted very well now and is very secure with every member of his family. But he still cries if left with any one else (outside of the 3 of us)for even a few mins. I don't recall if you mentioned your childs age, Isaac turned 2 just 2 weeks before placement.
