Foster Agencies in Southern California?

Hello, my husband and I are looking to adopt from the foster care system in Southern California, specifically Orange County. I have been looking into Olive Crest and Orangewood, but there are so many agencies and I really have no idea where to start. Does anybody have any experience with agencies in SoCal? We're looking for public foster adoption.

' Our ' State of California is about to ' Privitize ' Foster Care , and not have anything to do with it!!

What I would do personally as a Mom and Professionally is go to the ' Free Orientations. '

Ask for 4 or 5 Positive and Negative References.

Look at what ' Advocative Services for both the children and you as Family ' the Agency provides.

Look at what their ' Placement Percentages ' are??

Are or is any of this a ' Fit for your Family " ???

I am not sure how much this will change with Privitization., The Advocacy with Kids who are under the age of 8 years old is . Automatically Reunificaiton with the Birth Parent (s) , or other Biological Family as well also!!
