Hi everyone,
My husband and I plan to really start the adoption process in a couple of years after he has obtained his Master's degree. In the meantime I plan to do as much research and paperwork beforehand. We are open to small children, transracial adoption and family groups. I'm just trying to find the best agency for us. So far I've looked into a lot of them and narrowed it down to a couple. One is Morning Star Adoption Center and Family Adoption Consultants.
Any information/shared experiences on these agencies will be appreciated. Thank you.

Both Agencies should offer you Free Seminars or Orientations.
I would encourage you to go to these and ask for 3 or more Parents or Families who have had positive experiences.
As well as the same with Negative experiences.
I would then look at these experiences!!
In most states, the Advocacy is almost totally Reunification with either the Biological Parents or some other type of Biological Relative for Kids under the age of 8!!!
I would also offer or show interest to do ' Respite Care ' . Whist you are waiting for your husband to finish school.
Most of the paperwork is expensive and some of it has expiration dates.
If you move also . You would need to start the paperwork over again!!
Best Wishes and Good Luck in Your Family's Journey!!
