I have heard a few stories of adoptive parents dissolving the adoption and relinquishing their parental rights to their adopted child for one reason or another. I have very mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I feel upset because I think once you agree to adopt that child it is your responsibility to raise them as you would a biological child. But on the other hand, as a biological parent, I understand feeling so overwhelmed at unforeseen circumstances and knowing that you cannot provide for all the child's needs. What are your thoughts?
