What are the pros and cons of placing a baby for adoption vs. parenting?

There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages to both. First, in hand , placing a baby for adoption could be very difficult for a mother. I think parenting has more advantages because you can see your child grows, although its hard to raise a child especially if you cant afford it.
