Quick Background: MY wife and I are relatively new foster parents (had our baby girl since she was 17 days old) and are approaching what we believe is our adoption date! But we have some things coming up that raised questions in our home. 1. We have fostered baby girl from 17 days old to current (a few days from 11 months old!) and the bio parents have been served with TPR papers about a month and some change ago. 2. Our goal was changed to adoption about 1-2 month(s) ago at our court hearing for permanency review. 3. Just recently BM was granted visitation one day bi-weekly for 2 hours. What we are wondering if is this affects our adoption overall or is it something normal because rights haven't been officially terminated? Can the goal be changed back to RU from Adoption? We have a Termination hearing scheduled for February which is right around the corner.. We just need some help. Anyone have similar situations or can someone help us out with what we might be expecting to happen in the coming months?
