Why We Want To Change Our Soon-To-Be Adopted Baby's Name (5 months old)

Hello all, my wife and I will soon be adopting our first child in a couple months. The baby's biological mother is a family member (cousin) and she has already had 3 other children taken away by the state - ages 5, 4, 3. The children have been taken away because she is very abusive and combative toward others, assaulted my elderly grandmother, and is prone to screaming and yelling around her children. She was ordered to attend anger management and parenting classes but refused to do so, even after several deadline extensions. Do to her refusal, the state temporarily placed the 3 children with my aunt and gave her an ultimatum, attend the classes or lose custody permanently. She told her caseworker she would only attend the classes if she got her children back but of course that didn't fly. She of course lost custody and my aunt and uncle adopted the children outright.
