Before adoption

Before you decide to adopt or be a relative care giver like I was, look very hard at the circumstances as to where they came from. I adopted the oldest and she turned against me when she was a teen. I had the youngest and when he turned into a teenager, he listened to the others. The mom and dad did prison time. He thought grass was greener. It was not. I had him enrolled in a Christian school and his sister turned him against me. I'm a awesome mom, daughter. Sister and friend. Think twice and know who you are adopting from. I was pit in a predicament of serial abuse. I said on my own terms to take a polygraph. Of course I passed. I miss my son like no tomorrow but dcf just goes to voice mail full. Don't let this happen to you. Heartbreaking.
