We have been married for 11 years and plan for life--Please send advice, info, etc. Thank youTW

Our Chaplain gave us advice on where we could call, and sometimes they know of couples who are wanting to have a family adopt their child. My wife and I would love to adopt, we recently have found out that we are unable to have children. We are saddened by this, but we are hopeful and we have faith that maybe someday we will have a family. I wish you and your wife the best of luck. God Bless you both.

If so, have you approached any of them? I have a friend who was stationed in Germany processing with a US base agency to adopt a second time from China, when they had orders to move back before traveling to China to get the child. They worked it out. One parent traveled to China to complete the adoption while the other handled the moving aspect. It can be done. Another consideration is that people are independently adopting from the Ukraine. My website offers a book on 'how to adopt independently' from the Ukraine. I know its possible, because I have personally heard form a few who have. Have you considered this possibility? I know from experience, that when you get too specific with adoption (like what you child should look like or what nationality it shoul have) that you narrow down the possibilities. Please visit my site at and don't hesitate to write me at adoptionhope@msn.comIf your interested in hearing more from a US base agency willing to help you, I can direct you, as I have with many others who have successfully adopt to a contact person within that agency that might agree to work for you.Best wishes,Barb Burke
