I do think that you have to be secure in your relationship with your ason/daughter and then everything else will fall in place. AND I do agree that bmothers have quite a say in the whole decision; however, if I were placing my child I would want to know they were taken care of as well. Good luck in your journey, just remember how the aparents treat you is how they will treat the baby!!! We are ready to turn in our papers again and I would never do anything but open adoption.
