We are really looking forward to this because my husband and I really want children of our own and we can not become pregnant. And I feel these kids need loving families too.
Thanks.

Keep an open mind and really consider the implications of raising a developmentally delayed child to adulthood. It sounds very romantic, but is a LOT of work and heartbreaking at times (also a joy at times). Parenting a "normal" child is a big enough challenge, be sure you really feel called to take on the extra work involved (OT, PT, many appointments, and the personality to advocate for them at all costs). Also be sure you have a very supportive family and spouse....Good Luck!!!
