The agencies that have representatives in Brazil will be most successful. We are having an agency compile our dossier for us but we will have to deal with the Brazilian government, National and Local, to complete the adoption process. I, Henry, am in the military and do not have $20,000.00 for an agency to acquire a child from Brazil or any other country for my wife & I. The fees involved in adopting a child from Brazil are strictly the fees the adoption agency charges. The Brazilian Government, National or Local does not charge any fees for the adoption. So far, the only adoption agency I have found that will do a complete adoption process is the International Adoption Assistance, Inc. Agency in Harrisburg, PA. 1-877-750-0826 Their fee is $20,000.00If you have a contact in Brazil, try The international Adoption Center, Elkins Park, Pa. (a suburb of Philly) Fee is around $5000.00 or less.
