My wife's daughter would like me to adopt her & her mother feels the same. We seem to have a pretty cut/dry deal. The Bio father is unknown and the registered "birth father" from her birth certificate has already been removed via DNA proof. I know there is an announcement that has to be published, but what about all of the other costs. We have consulted with several lawers that have all recomended that we go this alone to save thousands($$$). Unfortunatly, nobody will give me any idea how much $$$ I need to through at the project to get it completed.
