Hi my name is Niki and I am a birthmom of 2yrs now. I would like to know if some one could help me and maybe guide me in the right direction. I would like to start a career in helping birthmoms post adoption. If anyone could please guide me in the right direction or give me a clue as to where I need to start I would be most apprecitive. I would advise education, whether initial or continuing. Psychology, sociology, law, etc. Credentials open doors. Are you thinking about counseling services, social work, ...? If you have something specific in mind, use that as your jumping off point. Good luck.:)
