Well, as it turns out, Catholic Charities did not misplace my file. Halfway through my adoption my parents had everything switched over to another organization called The Childrens Home of Pittsburgh. Just another ploy to make it more diffucult for me to find him I am sure. So I am now in contact with The Childrens Home to see if there is any infor. available for me and to get the non-id. infor. Waiting patiently for that phone call. Does anyone know if by chance my parents could have made any kind of financial game from this??
i think this is ME she is looking for- im a few years late on finding this

Good luck, Hope you find her:flowergift:
ETA: If you need help on how to email her through the forums, Please feel free to PM me!
I see she registered at ISSR; you should also do this
They will be able to match you;
I found over 10 Teresa Carson's in PA; Do you know how old she was?
Denise
she is 36 or 37
how do i register at the ISSR??
I Tried PM and email here, but seeing as it is 4 years old now, she might not be using the same address or this PM account. I did send a message both ways
Go to ISSR's website: ISRR
and they will have the forms for you to download, fill out and return by mail.
Good Luck :flowergift:

FOUND!!!! Thanks to Amyie, I got some great leads. A nice lady named Joane emailed me within a few hours of my posting on her site, The adoption database, and my mom and I were talking a few hours later. Set to meet this weekend!! thanks everyone for your help!!
Dave
I'm so happy for you! I didn't get any work done at work yesterday 'cuz I was so busy trying to find more clues. I totally went into detective mode! hahaha I'm not sure I'm going to take credit for this one, though. Your birthmother made sure to get her info out there to a LOT of different sites and registrys. It was only a matter of time once you started looking for her.
I can't wait to hear about your meeting!
On behalf of these boards, I would like to officially welcome you to the Reunion Rollercoaster!! Buckle up, keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times, and enjoy the ride!
Jamie
PS: I hope you asked her to come back here and say hello! I would love to give her a cyber hug for doing such a good job making sure she was found :)

CONGRATS Dave!!! That is so great to hear! I wish you all the luck in the world in your reunion. Its sometimes confusing, but its worth it. The first ten minutes or so were so strange, no one knew what to say, but when we look back on it we laugh. I hope you have a great reunion!
