Find Tennessee adoption information such as waiting children, adoption organizations, hopeful parents, state laws and statutes, and state reunion registry at http://tennessee.adoption.com. Does anyone know of any other state-specific adoption information to add to this site?

I am so confused! you hear so many different things and everything. These agencies show you these perfect babies and then tell you how can you put a price on becoming a mother. i just need some guidance. I believe that I would like to do a state sponsored adoption and I have filled out the application but I am lost as to what the next step is.
I have a lot of the same feeling that you have about adoptin and i really need someone to talk to if you are interested. I will tell you all there i sto know about me.
I am 24 and i also live in TN. i had to have a complete hystorectomy at the age of 21, because of endimetriosis and cervical cancer. i have been married for 3.5 years and we dated for 3 years before that.
To be honest i need someone to talk to that knows how i feel.
If that makes sense to you please feel free to e-mail me.

Going through the state is not a bad way to go, the only thing was for us is having to become foster parents first. Fosterparenting is so emotionally hard, but in the end we were able to adopt our first foster child Feb 2004. We have had him since he was 20 months old and he is now 4 will be 5 in Sept!
I wouldn't have give him up for nothing. He looks just like my husband, and as my husband says...acts like me!:)
