Has anyone else had a dream about a child that you knew would one day be yours?
I've been having this dream for the past month and a half. I walk out front of the house with kool aid in my hands and to the playyard. There stands my hubby pushing this beautiful little girl in the swing who is laughing that wonderful little girl laugh. I just stand in awe for a few moments that this is real. When she looks up and sees me, she jumps from the swing, runs over grabs a kool aid, and runs back to the playyard. She then turns and says "Mommy I need help." I then walk over and hold her drink as she walks up the steps and into the playhouse. She asks for her drink and then sits down in the chair.
I know this is my house and our playyard. And the little chair is the little red and yellow plastic one I put in the playhouse for my goddaughter. No matter what I do I can't shake this dream. Am I nuts?

No, you are certainly not nuts! My husband has been having
dreams about our kids for a while now. And they have been coming true! First one - A dark haired girl playing in the backyard
- now our daughter, Hope, just turned three.
Last November, getting paperwork ready for second adoption -
he says " June, a boy" . Well... we just last night matched
with a potential birthmom, due in two weeks. Listen to your
intuition, sometimes that is all you have! Best of luck in your
journey! Mary

I really think the dream was a way of telling me to talk with my DH about certain aspects of our adoption. We were still discussing whether or not to try for an AA child. Once we sat down and talked he said that he had been thinking hard on the matter. We came to the mutual decision that we needed to move forward. Unfortunately, I haven't really had the dream since we talked. But then again we've had a lot going on in our lives in the last few weeks.
Thanks for sharing with me!
I had a dream once about a blonde-haired baby boy that I was rocking. All the other details were fuzzy - I don't remember anyone else in the dream. Less than a week later, my brother and his blonde-haired wife told me that they were expecting. Eight months later, I was rocking that blonde-haired baby boy.
Dreams are great, aren't they?!?! Especially the ones that come true.
