Nicole

from Pennsylvania

Nicole is a shy and reserved young girl at first meeting but like a cake once she starts baking, she rises with personality! She is compassionate, introspective, and kind and wants to be a police officer when she grows up. She loves soul food as a representation of her culture. She enjoys all things girly and loves to get her hair groomed and her nails polished. She is looking for a patient family to watch her bake and have all the right ingredients to help her rise! Nicole thrives in a structured environment and needs a patient and firm caregiver. Nicole blossoms like a flower when she feels that a caregiver understands her and won’t give up on her. As such she will need some time to “fully bake” but once she rises she will be a sweet treat. Nicole is a helpful young child and would thrive when given an opportunity to be helpful especially in the kitchen. Parental rights have not been terminated for Nicole; however once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Janaeyah Reid, via telephone or email jreid@gemmaservices.org.
