Kelvin from Virginia

Kelvin is a 17-year-old youth looking for a permanent family to help him transition to adulthood. Kelvin's smile can light up a room. He is kindhearted and hard working. A natural born leader. Kelvin enjoys a variety of interests. He enjoys school, exercise and being active, fishing, and working. Kelvin received straight A's on his last report card. He received various awards at school for perfect attendance, All A's, Captain of the Kickball Team, and for positive sportsmanship. He led his kickball team to a great season during the school year. In addition to kickball, Kelvin enjoys a variety of sports and activities. He is focused on having a healthy diet, playing soccer, basketball, biking, and running. Kelvin additionally enjoys playing his guitar and is pursuing lessons to get better. He loves music. Kelvin listens to a wide variety of music to include rock, hip hop, alternative rock, country, and he even enjoys Frank Sinatra. Kelvin likes to read the bible. He hasn't been to church in a while, but he identifies as Christian with a Catholic background. Kelvin is eager to build relationships and find people who can help him through his journey. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
