Passive Registries

Passive Registries: This term refers to a type of reunion registry that requires both parties to register their consent for release of information before a match can be made. Once a match occurs, both parties are notified. These systems depend on both parties registering, a match being found, and a follow-up notification being made by the registry administrator.
