Maria de Lourdes Villiers Farrow is the daughter of late film director John Farrow and his wife, late actress Maureen O’Sullivan.
Her first marriage was to one of the best vocalists of all time, Frank Sinatra, who served her divorce papers in front of the cast and crew of Rosemary’s Baby, a film Farrow was working on, 2 years into their marriage. He believed Farrow chose her career over him.
Farrow had a total of 14 children – 9 adopted and 5 biological. One of her adopted daughters, Tam, died at the age of 19 in 2000 of cardiac arrest.
