The largest independent fostering agency in the UK, Core Assets Fostering created this video to share insight into helping foster children with disabilities. Their vision is to “make a positive and lasting difference for children and families.” In valuing diversity, Core Assets Fostering believes that being mentally disabled does not mean being unable to assimilate into life. They know and teach that everyone has value. Looking for families who are willing to put time and love into fostering, they are especially in need of those who would like to help children with autism.
Core Assets Fostering was founded in 1994 and has grown from a small organization in a tiny office to offering services throughout England, Ireland, and Scotland. Begun as an organization to help in the foster program, they have expanded into consulting as well as offering services to children and families outside of the foster care system.
