There are a lot of factors that go into making the decision to place a child for adoption. When birth mothers are faced with an unplanned pregnancy, their lives are turned upside down. They consider their own futures as well as the future of their unborn child. When a birth mother decides to place for adoption, she does so for a variety of reasons. But the universal feeling that is expressed by all the birth mothers we interviewed is this: Adoption is love! These birth mothers chose adoption because they knew it was the best decision for their child. And it is through making this choice that they have shown the deep love they have for their children.
