Adoption is beautiful. It’s also hard. Adoption is a blessing, it’s a gift and it’s something that brings great joy. Along with that joy, there is a lot of pain. So these birth mothers share the truth that they know that adoption was right for them and for the children they birthed. They also share the truth that there are no guarantees, whether in a biological family or in an adopted family. When sharing a story of adoption, these birth mothers believe that the full story should be shared—the joy and the pain. Adoption is no fairytale, but it is a true-life story of love and growth.
