I would test on Ancestry and 23andme. Ask your adoptive parents for your immigration records, that should also have her address too. Also FB would be a good place to search, watch out for scams.

I would suggest DNA testing on 23andme and Ancestry. You could get lucky with a close cousin. Everyone in the Philippines is on Facebook. I would try to search there or send messages, maybe try churches, etc. Also post your pictures and appx birth date. Never ever send anyone money if they ask. I am pretty sure you should be able to get answers, just going to take some work.Alan

I just wanted to suggest you add as much information as you feel you can. Do you have any dates so people have a reference to work with? Something like dates your mother might have gone overseas? How old is she now "estimate"? Facebook also has groups that may help. It seems most people in the Philippines are on FB. Also DNA testing "could" find some cousins to work with. Ancestry.com has message boards too. Alan
