When we applied to adopt our foster child, after documents were submitted, we waited 3 months to travel (we had to travel BACK with him since he was still in the states) Philippine matching takes longer than some countries because the Inter-country adoption board there does the matching. Three months wait to travel is typical and you only need be there 3-4 days. THE WAIT IS WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!
