Hello. Me and my husband are looking to adopt a son. We understand most of the rules and the regs as far as the government is concerned. I was born in P.I.(father was Navy) and I'm pilipina/black. When I was born there was alot of problems with sailors making kids and leaving and then the mothers end up giving the kids up for adoption. Most of these kids of course were multiracial.I don't know what it's like now with children for adoption but we are looking to adopt a son of multiracial background (pilipino/black).

Whatever agency you use, you will fill out some kind of info sheet on what kind of child you want and would consider (sex, race, age, physical) You can definately request a biracial and they will try to match you. There are biracail children available. If I remember correctly from some reading I did, sadly children that are mixed with black tend to be looked down on more.
