Hi,
We have been pursuing international adoption, and had to change from Vietnam to Kazakhstan last Nov. We may now have to drop out of the Kazakhstan program b/c last week Kaz starting rejecting parents over 50. (DH is 52, and I am 40).
Have spoken to ANLC, and am considering applying to them.
Any feedback you could give would be very helpful.
Please PM or email.
Thanks!
Laurel
Hi,
We gave up on ANLC. I asked for references and they never got back to me. Also, it's too much at risk money (12k) and too many horror stories.
I would however, highly recommend VallyofHope.net They got us a baby in 1 month after we had waited 15 months with American Adoptions.
They are consultants who work with 8 different agencies. It's like increasing your odds 8 fold instead of waiting with only one agency. We had 4 calls in 2 days about babies.
Good luck.

Hi there.
We have officially decided to begin the adoption process but are having a hard time figuring out where to start. We live in south Orange County and would like some info regarding the Adoption Law Center from those who've had experience. And if you have any additional words of wisdom I'd really appreciate that too. Please PM.
Thanks!
Melissa

I would also like to hear any opinions or experiences about this agency. My husband and I are leaning towards them right now. We have another conference call on Monday (tomorrow) and would like to hear back by them (if possible).
Please send reply in PM or email me at anewlynn@yahoo.com
Thank you
Lynn
