My aunt has decided to look for her adopted daughter after 30 years-where and how do you start the process. We have a birthdate and place, but know nothing about the adoptive parents.

Go to I.S.R.R.on line and download application - fill it out and mail in. If there is a match they will contact. Also, post on registry searches online.

You need to write a letter to DCS Adoption Services requesting to see the adoption files. There are several posts with the addresses. I am in the process of creating a website with how to find Tn records. It has some information that might help you.
